AE2002 - VE2002

Salve a tutti,
per iniziare un messaggio all'amico Howard : lo ringrazio molto per
l'apprezzamento,ma non sono tanto esperto di antico Rivarossi come
lui crede.Posso dire solo che non mi risulta che la 746,annunciata alla
fine degli anni '40,sia stata mai prodotta.
Mi è gradito proporre agli amici del forum un quesito:
Cosa si sa della AE2002?
Io ho il modello,ma non sono mai riuscito a trovarne traccia ne' su
riviste,ne' su cataloghi.
Il catalogo dei 50 anni Rivarossi la riporta come prodotta nel 1946
assieme alla rimorchiata VE2002 sia nel colore marrone,che in quello
verde.A pagina 103 dello stesso catalogo è riportata la foto della rimorchiata.
Io allego la foto del mio modello:c'è qualcuno che ne sa qualcosa?

Credo che l'unico in grado di avere una foto della AE 2002 sia proprio tu . Infatti sul cataloghino 1946 della A.E. 2002 e della sua rimorchiata c'è solo il seguente disegno:

Hi Peppe, It appears you have a very early 1946 version of the Railcar, If you go to the Catologue section on Rivarossi-Memory and open the Catalouge section you will find the picture Gianni has posted and tye other seven pages. This early document was folded in a certain way as Massimo has detailed in the sketch. With regard to your photograph it initally appeared to be some early diesel version however i quickly realised that the patographs were missing from the roof! I would like to know if it is in running order.

Peppe,

This is indeed a mystery, why pantographs were not fitted. If you compare the contours of the roof on your model it does not resemble any of the spare parts listed in the 1948 catalogue. (267B & 268B) The roof does seem to resemble the model shown on the picture Gianni posted without the pantographs. Strangley, it shows an electric supply with insulators but no pantograph accommodation. Is it possible this could have been a prototype model?

...volevo soltanto dire .... " C O M P L I M E N T I !!!! " all'amico peppe per il suo più che fantastico modello .
E' veramente notevole, addirittura senza pantografi e col motore.... (nel cataloghino dei 50 anni rivarossi c'è una foto del modello in questione che riporta l'anno 1946, ....penso sia proprio una delle primissime versioni!).

inoltre il colore lo dimostra e anche i fanali colorati di giallo, come dle resto i carrelli (del 1° tipo).

Continuerò a seguire con piacere la discussione !

io noterei anche la cura che Alessandro Rossi poneva nella progettazione dei suoi modelli. Infatti il rimorchietto ha un imperiale completamente diverso dalla motrice, con ovvio sovraccarico di costi, in tempi in cui le tolleranze rispetto agli originali erano altissime.
Si percepisce nettamente la volontà di Rossi nel voler, a tutti i costi, produrre modelli verosimili e non ricavati da riciclaggi.

Guardate che rarissimo modello che e' comparso su eBay.UK :
Una AE2002 del 1946, il primo tipo con pantografi rossi e fanali gialli, tetto grigio opaco con linea rossa, livrea verde scuro e giallo, con apertura "grande" per le spazzole (le ruote del carrello motore probabilmente non sono le sue).
A parte qualche "acciacco" un modello interessantissimo! ...andato venduto per un prezzo nemmeno proibitivo direi data la rarità'...

Questo è infatti un mistero, perché non erano montati in pantografi. Se confronti i contorni del tetto sul tuo modello non assomiglia a nessuno delle parti di ricambio elencate nel catalogo 1948. (267B & 268B) Il tetto non sembra assomigliare al modello mostrato nella foto che Gianni postò senza pantografi.
Stranamente, mostra un'alimentazione elettrica con isolatori ma non spazio per pantografo. E' possibile che sia un modello prototipo?

Well, I think you are right, it may be a prototype sold may be originally as a set as pantographs seemed still to be produced. From the picture of Peppe-1946 on 22 lug 2012, 22:11 there are the bases moulded on the roof of the body, so provvision for them, really sales for the cash flow for a fledgling young firm! The fixing hole for it seems to be occupied by an insulator to carry a simplified longitudinal red wire.

Penso che hai ragione, protrebbe essere un prototipo possibilimente venduto come impianto visto che i pantografi erano ancora da produrre, Dalla foto di Peppe-1946 on 22 lug 2012, 22:11 ci sono le basi stampate sul tetto, così predisposto per essi, insomma vendite per flusso contabile di nascente ditta! Il suo foro di fissaggio sembra occupato da un'isolatore per portare un filo longitudinale semplificato rosso.

Andrew's Ferrari picture of the eBay sold model shows another stile of pan of the RR pantograph of the period and it is painted [/color] redas from real Italian railway safety practice for live part.
La foto di Andrea Ferrari del modello venduto su eBay mostra un'altro stile di strisciante del pantografo RR del periodo ed è dipinto in rosso come dal vero seguendo prassi antinfortunistica delle ferrovie Italiane.

The main criticism to Mr. Rossi is about the fact that his model is a bit freelance as the real thing the FNM EB700-xx motor coach and derivatives had 2 sets of passenger doors separating 3 small saloons with 3 windows each and not only 2 saloons with 4 windows each!
La critica principale al Sign. Rossi è il fatto che questo modello è un po' di fantasia dato la vero la motrice FNM EB700.xx e derivate aveva 2 porte per passeggeri separando 3 saloncini con 3 finestre ognuno e non 2 saloni con 4 fineste ognuno!

Still a nice model. Lo stesso un bel modello.
