Caspita, questa è una notizia interessante!! Ho dato un'occhiata anche al sit GAS ,certo sarebbe bello poterlo acquisire questo archivio ,se di interesse, o dico un'eresia? Forse contribuendo tutti e avendo la possibilità "amministrativo-legale" per poter partecipare alla gara si potrebbe tentare.Non ho idea dei costi nè delle procedure relative (chè mi pare più di un ostacolo ci sia) quindi,sperando di non aver detto sciocchezze, lascio la parola ai più esperti!

do you know they do not accept groups of people? Did you ask them? We were thinking about asking for interrested people and go for a bid.

What will be included in the package? Only documents? Hand made models? Production plans, correspondance...?
Where was the archivio until now? I thought it all went to England.

Purtroppo rio questo salvataggio non è possibile per i gruppi di appassionati, e neanche per la FIMF con sessanta anni di presenza sul campo. Forse il mecenate fiorentino che ha in costruzione il megaplastico potrebbe fare un offerta con i suoi spiccioli...

Unfortunately it is difficult to answer.
The italian Rail Modellers Federation FIMF has stated it does not fulfill the legal requirements to make an offer.
Is it possible that there are tons of paper?

Sfortunatamente è difficile rispondere.
La Fimf si è tirata fuori perché non ha le carte per presentarsi.
E' possibile che ci siano tonnellate di cartacce?

I think it will be lots of paperwork, orders, lists, production plans, correspondence with partners and importers, oorders from dealers, orders for material...

Why does FIMF not fulfil the legal requirements? They should be the first to go for a bid!

They do not legally qualify for reasons of statute. And if they did no member would approve to spend one euro on this matter.

Martin chiedeva perché la Fimf non sia legalmente qualificata, e il Presidente dice che lo statuto non lo permette.
E io aggiungo che nessun socio approverebbe la spesa di un euro per questo (andava approvato prima in assemblea, semmai, ma io mi sarei opposto).

Credetemi, ci avremmo trovato tonnellate di fatture come questa allegata.
